Representatives of the sector

The Spanish Plastic Technology platform is run by amec imapc, the Spanish Plastic Machinery Manufacturers Association.

amec imapc represents the Spanish plastic machinery sector, gathering manufacturers of a wide variety of technologies, solutions, and accessories. The Association has an outstanding role in the international promotion of the sector, helping manufacturers to open new international markets and to boost their competitiveness.

In short, our team is the speaker of the Spanish plastic machinery sector and we work to have a leading role on the international scene, fostering its competitiveness and sharing synergies.

amec imapc develops its activities under amec’s umbrella.

amec is the main Spanish ecosystem of internationalized industrial companies. amec creates spaces for collaboration between industries and knowledge transfer, accompanies companies to successfully face the great challenges of sustainability and adaptation to changes, and promotes their visibility in the Spanish, European and international scene.

amec upholds a strong, diversified and flexible economy, where the industrial sector plays a leading role as one of the main drivers of social and economic transformation.

Carmina Castellà

Carmina Castellà has been in charge of amec imapc for 8 years, making the entity a national reference and a recognized interlocutor worldwide.

She is an experienced executive in the management of Sectorial Associations. She is aware of trends, leading international fairs, technical magazines, and entities for the plastic sector at a Spanish and international level.

José Luis González

José Luis González has been working at amec for 25 years, performing different functions. He is currently Deputy Business Unit Director for the Food, Packaging and Plastic Technology sectors.

He is an experienced technician in the organization of international activities, knowledgeable about the sectors and member companies of amec.
